Fees & Insurance
Clear pricing, no surprises. You will always know what a session costs before you book it.
Session fees
| Service | Fee |
|---|---|
| Initial intake session (50 min) | $150 |
| Individual session (50 min) | $150 |
| Free consultation (15 min) | No charge |
Insurance
I am not currently accepting insurance. All sessions are private pay, which means you are not limited by what a plan will authorize, and nothing about your care is shared with an insurer.
Because you are paying privately, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs in writing before we begin.
Sliding scale
Cost should not be the only reason therapy is out of reach. I keep a small number of reduced-fee spots open at any given time:
| Rate | For |
|---|---|
| $150 | Standard fee |
| $120 | Reduced fee |
| $90 | Significant financial need |
There is no paperwork and no income documentation — just tell me what you can manage during our consultation and we will find a workable number. We will revisit it every six months, or sooner if your circumstances change.
Reduced-fee spots are limited, so there may occasionally be a wait. If I cannot offer you one, I will say so directly and help you find other options.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Stripe and is due at the time of session. Accepted methods:
- All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- HSA and FSA cards — therapy is typically an eligible expense, though your plan has the final say
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice are charged a $75 late-cancellation fee.
Life happens, and I would rather you told me late than not at all — if something genuinely unavoidable comes up, talk to me about it.
